“Somebody was asking Vaslav Nijinsky (dancer and choreographer) if it was difficult to stay in the air as he did while jumping; he did not understand at first, and then very obligingly replied: No! No! not difficult. You have to just go up and then pause a little up there.” This essay is a part of my personal project inspired by anecdote on Vaslav Nijinsky, dancer and choreographer from a book by Modris Eksteins “The Rites of Spring”. It was completed in Crimea, Ukraine and it tries to tell all those unimportant stories that may happen during hot summer afternoons.
